Inside an apartment from the communist years, from the book "Poem for the Albanian Woman" (with a heavy dose of propaganda in the introduction by Ismael Kadare's wife, Elena Kadare). It was published in 1972. Most of the photos were by Petrit Kumi.

Hehehe!
Notice the short skirt! After the faux-spring of late 60's and early 70's, thanks to the influences of the Chinese Cultural Revolution, skirts like this were condemned as "modern" and the accepted length was 5 fingers below the knee!
Good times! Very IKEA-ish!

I haven't quit - the project will be continued. It's on hiatus.
